Spa Etiquette

Arrival

We suggest that you arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment. Please be aware that treatment times include intake and homecare recommendations by therapists. All new clients will be required to complete a new client form.

We validate parking at the Ann and Ashley parking garage for up 2 hours (with the exception of special event days)
 

Cell Phones

Please be considerate of other spa guests and mute your cell phone and pager when entering our Quiet Zone.


Children 12 and under

We do not allow for children under the age of 12 to receive treatments, and they are not permitted in our treatment areas. Teenagers 12 and up are permitted to receive teen facials, and young adults must be 16 or older to receive massage treatments.

Pregnancy

Due to our spa policies, we are unable to perform massages on pregnant clients unless they are out of their first trimester. If you are in your second trimester or later, we have a special prenatal massage available to you.

Valuables

We suggest that you leave your valuables at home. If you have multiple services, you will be given a robe, spa slippers, and a basket to carry your belongings with you from treatment room to treatment room. The spa will not be responsible for your personal items.

Gratuities

You may leave a gratuity for your service provider in an envelope provided at the front desk or you may charge it to your credit card when you check out. Please note that an additional 20% gratuity will be added to all spa retreat packages.

Late Arrivals

A late arrival will receive an extension of scheduled service time ONLY IF time is available. Otherwise, the client will be subject to the full service fee.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

A credit card number or gift card is required for all reservations. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us 24 hours in advance for single services and 48 hours in advance for multiple services. Failure to honor our policy will result in a charge to the credit card or forfeit of the gift card for all clients as follows: First time, 50% of the service fee; thereafter, 100% of the service fee.

All Retreat Packages require a credit card or gift card on file to book. Late cancellation will result in a 20% service fee.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can be purchased in the spa or online for any dollar amount. They are valid for five years from the date of purchase and can be used for services, merchandise, and gratuities. Gift cards are non-refundable. The purchaser of the gift card is always informed of its expiration date. We cannot regulate if you were gifted a card and were not informed of it's expiration, therefor we will not accept any expired gift cards. Per Michigan law, businesses have the right to refuse any gift card that is over 5 years old.
